My Story

I am a small-town, BC girl, who is happiest outdoors in whatever way I can be. I am a hands-on, no bullshit kind of person, very passionate about helping people. After experiencing the gaps in our healthcare system with my own births, I knew I could make a difference. I dug in. I took my Birth and Postpartum Doula training, was hooked, and I have not stopped training since. With every course I take I walk away thinking how excited I am to implement these new skills with my clients but also, how/why is this not common knowledge!? Being a Doula, I can make sure that parents have all the information and tools they need to make informed decisions and be as comfortable and stress free as possible.

I am a mother of 4. I have raised a stepchild from the age of 3, had a 40-hour labour followed by an emergency cesarean birth, had an unmedicated v-bac (vaginal birth after a cesarean birth), and gave birth to a beautiful 26 and 5 preemie who lived for a short 5 days before passing away. I have experienced a lot and I have a lot of knowledge and love to share.
